Amazon first brought in app purchasing to Android apps before Google did. Now amazon has added a few features to gaming that Google should have already done. With game circle, Amazon will store your game progress to the cloud and you can resume it anytime. So if you get really far on Plants vs. Zombies and have to do a data wipe or delete the game you can start where you left off upon re-installation. On top of that GameCircle adds achievements and leader boards to games. The api is available now and some popular games are already being worked on for the updates. Temple Run is the most popular game that is taing advantage of the API right now and others will follow shortly.
