AT&T Posts 10% Earnings Growth, 30% Of Customers Now On 4G

AT&T is back on the upward swing with sales and profits this quarter. The company added 1.3 million new customer,s of which 320,000 were postpaid customers. AT&T sold 5.1 million smartphones, and has moved up to about 1/3rd of it’s customers to 4G. No word on if they have LTE or HSPA phones. Income was about 3.9 billion, up from 3.6 billion from the same quarter last year. All around AT&T is doing well, which they weren’t a couple of years ago. With a new iPhone on the way in Sept, most carriers will expect a spike in sales and 4G customers soon.
