We showed off a photo of the Mirrorless offering from Canon, and now it is official. We have some hard specs to share with you along with pricing and availability. It has pretty much the same specs as the recently debuted T4i. 18mp APS-C sensor, 3 inch touchscreen with a new hybrid focusing system. It is powered by the Digic 5 processor and shoots up to 4.3 frames per second with a top iso setting of 12,800. The camera and 22mm lens will sell at $799. There is already another lens announced which is an 18-55 EF-M mount. The lens will sell at $299. There is a EF mount adapter for sale as well coming in at $199. Just like the T4i, video is a big focus with 1080 full video available at 24, 25 or 30 frames per second. Pretty much, this is a small form factor T4i. It doesn’t weigh much less but is much smaller. Looks like a very nice camera if you are in the market for a mirrorless. The camera will be available in October and can be pre-ordered now from various websites.
