If You Pre-Ordered A Nexus Q You Won’t Be Getting It Soon. As An Apology You Also Won’t Have To Pay For It.
Google is sending out emails to let customers who pre-ordered the Nexus Q know that there has been a delay. Google said in the email they heard initial feedback from users that they want Nexus Q to do even more than it does today. In response, we have decided to postpone the consumer launch of Nexus Q while we work on making it even better. To thank you for your early interest, we’d like to extend the Nexus Q preview to our pre-order customers and send you a free device.”
So if you have ordered the device Google has decided to delay it. But you get one free now. Maybe it’s because the device ships with no real operating system you can see on a screen. Sure it will stream things, but you can’t plug it in turn it on and have a UI on your screen out of the box.
