Netflix Profitable Again With Report Of Q2 Earnings

Netflix caught some slack over the past year for moving to on online format from a mail delivery dvd format. The move is finally starting to pay off as Netflix posted a $6 million gain for the quarter. Revenue was at $889 million with profits of $.11 per share. It was expected the company would make $.04 per share. Netflix also reported that the company added 1.09 million online subscribers while losing 850,000 dvd subscribers. That brings the total number of subscribers up to 24 million subscribers.
