Nokia Loses Another Billion Last Quarter, Poor US Phone Sales To Blame

| July 19, 2012 | Reply

For the past three quarters now Nokia has lost over $1 billion dollars. Phone sales were up over Q1, but not very much, and not enough to save the company from losing a ton of cash. As far as stock goes, this works out to a loss of about $.11 per share. Here in the US Nokia was only able to ship 600,000 phones nationwide. Considering all of the press and advertising the Lumia 900 has gotten, that’s pretty bad. Globally Nokia was able to sell 4 million phones over the quarter.
