Samsung Galaxy S3 4.1 Jelly Bean Update May Come As Soon As August [rumor]

| July 20, 2012 | Reply

It appears Samsung is fast at work to make sure Galaxy S3 owners get the latest version of Android on their phones. Rumors have the phone already testing Android 4.1 internally and could be out as soon as August or September. This, of course, would apply to the international version, as most US carriers will require some testing. If you are on Verizon, that could take up to 6 months as we have seen with the Galaxy Nexus. Of course, roms will cure that issue as CM10 is already being tested for release on most variants of the S3. It looks like some other high end Samsung devices will also get the update soon. Reports are the new Jelly Bean update is testing well on the S2.
