XBMC Is Officially Coming For Android, Source Code Available Now [video]

XBMC is a powerful open sourced media player that will play just about anything across a number of devices. I believe its roots started on the original XBOX and has grown from there to be available in a number of forms. For a while now many people have wanted XBMC to work on Android OS, and now it will. Announced late last night with a teaser video, the group behind XBMC also released the code to get you devs up and running. It shouldn’t be too long before we start to see this player built into apps or roms as well. The developers wanted to point out this isn’t a slimmed down or optimized version either, it is full XBMC. A functioning build isn’t available yet but it shouldn’t be too long now.
