Motorla Releases Official Bootloader Unlock Tool

| August 17, 2012 | 1 Reply

The time has finally come! Motorola promised this day would come a long time ago, and here we go. Moto has officially launched the bootloader unlock tool for their phones. No word on exactly which phones will be supported but new phones will likely be first. You can head over to the “unlock my device” website and put in the IMEI of your Moto device and see if the device is able to be unlocked. Of course this will effectively end your warranty so you may want to stick with other means to load roms. No matter what, Moto finally stepped up and is starting to side with customers.
