Google Fiber Adds ESPN And A Bunch Of Other Disney Owned Channels

| September 13, 2012 | Reply

When I first saw the lineup for Google Fiber I noticed there was no ESPN. It was very disappointing. I could see that single channel keeping people from signing up. Now, a few days AFTER the initial signup period Google has added the Disney owned channel lineup. These channels include: ABC Family, ABC News Now, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Disney XD, ESPN, ESPN Buzzer Beater, ESPN Classic, ESPN Deportes, ESPN Goal Line, ESPN2, ESPNews, ESPNU, Longhorn Network, Ovation, SOAPnet, TBN, TBN Enlace, Velocity. With the addition of these channels, I imagine Google will open up a new signup window for the fiberhoods that haven’t yet qualified for the service. Google also posted on their blog that tomorrow they will announce more details on how to sign up for the actual service.
