It’s safe to say Google didn’t realize how wildly successful the Chromecast would be. Google offered three months of free Netflix with purchase, and could only offer it for about 18 hours because demand was so high. Chromecast is currently sold out on Google, Amazon and Best Buys websites, which places new orders weeks out for shipments. Today, Chromcast passed the beloved Roku3 and Apple TV in sales on Amazon. It only took two days. This may finally be one of the products Google has been hoping would take over your living room for some time. So far, so good. Knowing the early success of the Chromecast, other app developers are sure to add the sdk to their apps allowing seamless syncing with your tv.
