LG Sold 12.1 Million Phones Last Quarter – Ready To Be Taken Seriously?

| July 24, 2013 | Reply

LG announced their quarterly earnings report today, bringing in $13.6 billion in revenue which is up about 10 percent over the same time last year. LG sold the most phones it has in their history at 12.1 million, contributing $2.78 billion in revenue. The LG G2 is set to launch in just a few weeks and will be available for the holiday season. If LG can get a device on all carriers that has a quality build and good support, we may finally start to see a company that is ready to catch up to Samsung on the Android front. HTC is trying, but they tend to do things on more of a fail scale than others.
