Verizon only took about 15 minutes this morning to release the new iteration of the droid line. If we had tried to liveblog it, it would have been a mess. So here are the new phones:

DROID ULTRA:

  • 5 Inch 1080 HD Display
  • Quad Core Snapdragon 800 processor
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 10mp camera
  • 7.18 mm thin
  • 2130 mAh battery
  • $199

The Droid Maxx will have the same features and specs of the Ultra, but with a whopping 3500 mAh battery and will cost $299 on contract. The Maxx is still only about 8.5mm thick with that massive battery, which Motorola claims will last 48 hours. The Mini will come in with a 4.3 inch 720p display, the same specs otherwise but will cost $99 on contract at launch. Pre-orders begin today and the devices are set to ship August 20th.
